I was amazed that the surface gravity of the sun is only 28x that of Earth. I would have guessed 1 million times or something ridiculous like that before finding out the truth (which I looked up because of the movie Gorath about a planet with 6,000x earth’s gravitational pull, see recent BoingBoing entry)

Alas no. You’d have to reach over 1000mph, so I’m afraid Ceres isn’t a good place to park your Toyota.
