I feel the way you do about sport hunting, but this blind could be used for food hunting or culling as well. Since the purpose is to let the game get closer to the hunter, it could mean more precise shots and a more humane hunt.

Uh huh - you qualify some examples you feel are legitimate, but can’t resist absurd hyperbole.
Then you show your ignorance of hunting by saying people who hunt should “do it respectfully and with dispatch”, and then deride the tool that allows that. A blind is usually placed strategically, where the hunter knows the terrain, elevation, distance, and has clear pathways for a shot (also knowing there aren’t any houses a mile away in that direction). It allows a clean, steady shot that results in an ethical hunt and not a lost, wounded animal.

Hunting for “sport” is fucked up. I think that’s all @sfnate is saying, and I agree.
