If you assume it takes 10,000 hours to become an expert at something, 10 AUD for 4 minutes works out to 90,000,000 AUD, or $68.5 Million. Presumably they got a better rate than that.
Of course that 10,000 hours number is probably bogus.
Odd how those shows become mooshed together in the brain over the years.
While I was more of a Real People viewer, playground etiquette really required viewing That’s Incredible so I would be able to converse around the monkey bars.
Into the 90s (or was it the A0’s) if I recalled a clip from one of the shows, I was still certain as to which show the clip was from.
Then, somehow, that dividing line crumbled and for all that in holy in broadcast TV they became the same show.
What’s next? I’ll conflate Hair Bands with Heavy Metal? Korean Animation with Japanese? Marvel and DC?
Living in the Twin Cities at the time, everyone watched That’s Incredible because Fran Tarkenton (i.e.- MN Vikings). ::whompwhomp::
