Years ago, a buddy of mine made a spudlauncher using a compressed air tank, a length of copper tubing, and a ball valve. That thing could put noticeable dents into 1/4" thick steel plate.

I do like that all the music he uses is from bands that send in songs. He’s clearly a fan of British Ska-punk.
My recollection of a potato gun was one where you punched the tip of a little pistol-shaped bellows into a potato, thus fitting a little core sample into the end. you then squeezed and shot the little chip out. I was expecting a semi-auto that with each shot rotated the potato in a spiral and took a chip off with each shot.
