Just part and parcel of what makes us such a strange and wonderful species. Ignoring all the terrible shit we do, harmless and wonderful things like this remind me we have our positive traits. My wife and I spent almost two weeks driving across country and back and stopping at innumerable “but why” places like this and it was wonderful. Foam-Henge; Cadillac Ranch; Backyard Terror (a dinosaur park off the beaten track in TN, with many dozens of life-sized statues scattered around the woods).
It seems like the place has potential for a lot of birds’ nests.
In the USA, coffee mugs, like t-shirts and pens and lighters, are something you never really have to buy. They are always just around, people are giving them away.
I was thinking of places for mosquitoes to lay their eggs.
