Why is there a separate “women’s” record for something like this? We’re not talking about like, the fastest time for running a marathon. Is there a physiological difference between the sexes that means we should keep separate records?

Sometimes women’s awards aren’t about physical limitations they face but social limitations, when something gets all tied up by misogynists out to make it hard for them.
