if indeed a weather balloon accessory, would still qualify as “space debris”? because as of a couple months ago, there is no “finders keepers” with regard to that stuff.

In any case, the Bomb Squad retrieved the strange sphere and provided the Fuhrs with a receipt. If nobody claims the object, it’s finders keepers.

My dad found a boat in NY that washed up on the beach and they got to keep it and him and his brother fixed it and made it sea worthy. They were idiots and went way too far out to sea in that thing.
