All right, Beatrice, there was no alien. The flash of light you saw in the sky was not a UFO. Swamp gas from a weather balloon was trapped in a thermal pocket and reflected the light from Venus.

I saw something in the sky. Others examined the pictures and did comparative determination, said something about obvious wires and exact matches to known NOAA weather balloon types… hell they even cut out fabric samples and looked at them under a microscope to understand the material similarities, all that science shit.
But me, alls I know is I just looked up and it didn’t look like no balloon I ever blowed up for my kids party… so yeah, a real mystery there.
