This is the Philip Glass cover version?
I think I can point out it’s “Classical Gas” without being guilty of pedantry.
Great song.
Classical Gas was the intro music for the Canadian news hour the family watched when I was a little kid, so it imprinted on me early. Great tune!
(we were living right next to Niagara Falls on the US side)
Heavily Eurocentric, but not 100%, so for the time that’s pretty progressive.
Classical Gas is the song that plays on the control console when the Submillimeter Telescope (a radio telescope in Arizona) rotates through 360 degrees to unwrap its cables.
Saw this when it first aired. Still impressive.
We are now cultured!
Glassic Rock!
Ugh I think that video triggered a renaissance migraine
The SmoBros were generous with their air time. In terms of film, and I do like the Classical Gas, this is the film I’ve been carrying around in my memory for over 50 years now…American Time Capsule
