A shooting reported early Tuesday in Sylmar that left a person in critical condition is being investigated as a hate crime by Los Angeles police.
Officers said the victim was speaking with another person when a suspect “made disparaging and offensive comments” regarding the victim’s clothing and appearance, according to KTLA.
The victim was wearing women’s clothing, officials said.
The suspect fired multiple shots, then fled the scene, police officials said.

If anything, this makes her worse than the TERs. She is willing to make people suffer for something she doesn’t even believe in, as long as she gains power as a result.

Aaron White had barely started her first day of training to become director of operations at a Chick-fil-a location in Decatur, Georgia when a co-worker allegedly sexually harassed her by saying, “I would eat your as and py” and “On God, I will fk the s**t out of you.”
The on-duty shift leader reportedly told White to share what happened with the franchise owner, Joe Engert. Engert allegedly replied by telling White that “it should be an honor… [as] a transgender woman that someone liked her enough to hit on her,” White’s lawsuit states.
After Engert spoke with the accused employee, the employee allegedly began making violent, racist, and homophobic threats referencing White, including statements such as, “On God, I’m not with that gay s**t,” and “Hell nah, I’ll beat that gay [n-word] a*s.” White said the employee was never reprimanded, and that Engert said he would have to investigate White’s behavior if she continued reporting claims of harassment.
As word of White’s trans identity began to spread, other employees began to misgender her and direct homophobic comments at her, White alleges. Some employees claimed that the bad scent coming from a broken pipe in the restaurant had actually come from White’s hormone replacement therapy.
Engert later fired White for tardiness and for abruptly leaving her shift. But White says Engert didn’t fire other employees at her same level who had also been tardy. She also said she had received approval to leave her shift early, alleging that Engert only fired her for her LGBTQ identity.

Nearly 50 percent of transgender people travel outside of their state of residence to get gender-affirming genital surgeries, according to a new study from Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU). The percentage could increase as more states put bans against gender-affirming healthcare for trans people in place, the study’s authors say.
The study, published Wednesday in JAMA Surgery, looked at 771 transgender patients who had a vaginoplasty or phalloplasty between 2007 and 2019. It found that 49 percent left their state of residence to get the procedure. People who lived in southern states were more likely to have to leave their home states in order to receive the surgery.

Much as I hate the usual shower of shits running in this squid-game, at least he has chosen not to prioritise trans-hatred. I would like (as much as I hate all of them) Jeremy Hunt to win, as he is the only one who would not tear up all the green promises, according to today’s i newspaper.
Just a shame he lost out to Bozo the Clown last time around, denying us some 2 or more boring years.
