This is just happening and seemingly nothing can stop it. I talk about it on social media, trying to get friends and family to freaking DO something, hell even just SAY something, and the only people who interact are my queer friends. I donât know what to do. Iâm in a better situation than many, being as there doesnât seem to be this genocidal drive (yet) in Canada, but the hate is starting to leak over the border from the US and UK and catch on here and Iâm scared. Scared for me, scared for my friends in more risky places, scared for my siblings Iâve never met who are trying to survive this, scared that no one who can change things will see whatâs happening until itâs too late and my queer siblings are dead or irreparably damaged. I just want to scream, but no one is listening.
