Thank you, Gilbert. That’s an excellent example of what I meant.
Wow. That was…um. Wow.
Maybe we’re all doomed to death by cynicism?
Listen to another song?
My braines re broken now.
I was wondering where I was linked to this. I think it might have been this post. …So it’s all your fault.
i enjoyed watching it, quite funny…but i imagine that this on an endless loop could be used as a form of mental waterboarding.
looks like the credits are legit; John Crow (featured in the space-ship part with the venetian-blind glasses) is a local actor I recognize and know by name because he hosts the lottery ball drawing after the news every night.
except Lars Von Trier. everyone knows Von Trier is a pineapple upside-down cake. it’s Lasse Hallström who is a pie. common mistake.

There cannot be too many cooks threads.
agreed, but I just want to make sure everyone sees everyone else’s comments
I liked the part when there were too many cooks
Lars Von Trier as Pie also seems like a bit of a nod to this -
What exactly is the mom looking at at 0:19? We just established she’s alone in the kitchen.
And who the hell doesn’t listen to that little girl and think “She’s a goddamned robot.”?

If you don’t want to watch a sitcom about a robot girl, Small Wonder apparently is not for you. Personally, I had not even heard of the show until this video showed up. Right now, I’m binning it with Family Matters, which apparently is some sort of vaguely sci-fi-sitcom reference.
It wasn’t for me when it was on TV and I was the target audience. Family Matters though, not even vaguely sci-fi, no matter Steve Urkel’s floundering about as a science wiz. Purely family drama on par with Full House.

OK, I’ll take your word for it. I assume “Full House” is a black comedy about card sharks, and the family refers to the casino’s shadowy investors.
Ah, to grow up without a TV…
