I’ve often thought those were the best way to do shortbread cookies, because of all the crusty ridges taking advantage of the crumbly toasty aspects of so much butter in the batter.

A bold choice!
Well, Tea Bags on tiles is better than Pizzas.

I just made my second batch of these, and they are so well-suited for dunking. The buttery, caramelesque, crunchy texture on the outside still holds up when saturated with coffee/tea. My homemade cookies generally fall apart when I dunk, but these hold up wonderfully.
I subbed out the nuts for more chocolate. And then added more chocolate. Two pinkies up.
