…
Yoo reminds me of this whiny little twerp in high school. He desperately wanted to be accepted by the sportball/rich kids, and just wasn’t. But they used him while mocking him, and he become an increasingly nasty, unhappy person. I left, don’t know what happened to him.
But I’m pretty sure he doesn’t have a judgeship, either.
Yoo deserved and still deserves to be jailed for illegal justifications of torture.
I’d love to see that bastard rot in jail, he destroyed any remaining moral credibility the US government had left.
Yoo is one of those people who makes me wish I believed in a just afterlife, so I would feel confident that he would burn in some form of hell for eternity.
Lugubriously curious to watch individuals on the right place their wagers on or against trump based only on their greed and maintaining influence against the future outcome. Some do the calculus and conclude that trump has a literal limited lifetime and join something akin to The Lincoln Project, and some like John Yoo think they can cash in and network with the heavies before it all falls apart. I’d like to assume that Yoo has made a grave error - but he survived being a torture advocate for Bush and that could only encourage such foul strategies. -sigh-
As a Korean-American, John Woo is what we call a real
병신 새끼
Yoo is nothing but a degenerate, just like Trump.
Can I just say, though, that this part of the piece is pretty funny -
But we always knew, however tortuous the path, that Yoo would eventually find his way home. In the opening pages of Defender in Chief: Donald Trump’s Fight for Presidential Power , Yoo declares, Penthouse Forum–style, that he never thought this sort of thing would happen to him.
Needs to be the first post in every political thread:
The Barr Doctrine.
The McConnell Doctrine.
Don’t forget … Berkeley Law has had this stain on their faculty since 1993. I feel bad for past graduates, and couldn’t recommend anyone go there.
Instead of a Democratic Constitutional Republic we can skip over all the lame stuff and become a pure Crony Republic Kleptocracy.
I wish shills, sycophants, and cronies were more obvious to the average American. I grow weary trying to have discussions with people who insist they’ve never been lied to or scammed. We should hold both parties to higher standards than we do. But let’s tackle pants-on-fire party before we worry about the feckless excuse-makers party.
…Yhoops!
Yeah, atheism has its downside.
Oh my good heavens! Google Translate is not always your friend.
It’s gone from America: A Republic to The People’s Republic Of America with alarming speed.
He’s OK with torturing others but probably would not like being tortured himself. What a hypocrite. /s
John Yoo Massages Trump
Moral bankruptcy, with titles (as if that makes a difference).
So if we see this in the Biography or Non-Fiction sections of our local bookstores and libraries, should we complain and/or move it ourselves to the Fiction section?
