Troma and thousands of potential innovators will disappear.
Or maybe they’ll be forced back to word of mouth like in the good old days. Bootleg CDs will change hands 100 times in a kind of entertainment samizdat while we seniors watch Dancing With the Stars. Entertainment will become local again, and people will be forced to listen to bands they went to high school with.
In time, there may even be some innovation.
