Travis Picking is one of those things that seems impossible until you’ve invested what feels like a preposterous number of hours into it… and then, suddenly, it just “works”. No other guitar technique has been more challenging or more rewarding for me personally-- and I can just barely play “Freight Train” (though I did start working on Cannonball Rag last night, and all the hours I’ve put in so far are helping a bunch).
