If you think about it, though, an omnivorous species like ours should be able to pick up a lot of curious traits through eating just the right things. Assuming you can pass on acquired traits of course. Hopefully there’s no problem with that assumption, like if one of the most famous books in history found that evolution worked through some other mechanism.
