My wife is going out of town for a conference later this summer. I hope to spend the weekend re-watching all of The Return, just to see how it works driving straight through rather than weekly.

For me, and many others, it remains one of the greatest moments of television to date, or any other type of cinematic art, for that matter.

Well, let’s not get carried away. It is great television, though – no question.
