Mine too. To this day I hold Land of the Lost to be one of the best science fiction series ever aired.

The amount of ideas in that show is pretty amazing. The Cha-Ka’s language, the “pocket universe”, time-portals and crystals. Pretty much all of that sailed right over my head as a youngster.

Exactly. Yeah, Star Trek was great as a kid, but LotL was my first exposure to REAL science fiction.

David Gerrold and D.C. Fontana wrote some of the LotL episodes, they also wrote episodes for Star Trek.

I didn’t see anything about the Krofft brothers being in attendance for the opening. They made it down to Comic Con in San Diego this year.
