Trump spokesdroid Stephen Miller had to be removed from studio by CNN security

He hasn’t been relevant since Videodrome (I won’t even give his performance in Hercules any respect).

I’d actually say his career-best performance, and the last thing he did really worthwhile, was his segment in Cat’s Eye. By the time he did Hercules he was just doing self-parody.

Perhaps, but he was very appropriately assholey in Scorsese’s Casino.

This must be the “false news” our Glorious Leader warns us about. I will wait until the truth comes out that security rushed in of their own will to hoist him on their shoulders and carry him out to where the adoring multitude could praise him for bearing the word of the Master to us all so that the ground would not sully his angelic feet.

So this guy must have been cleared by Trump to go on CNN, and of course he was probably given these talking points, but was this the best guy they could find?

While he’s not really ugly per se, aspects of his look (the droopy eyes) and body language make him very un-photogenic. Maybe he was one of the few people not quoted in the book, so he was considered “safe.”

Tapper could have really made it harder for him quicker, a la “OK, you keep talking about the campaign, which is long over, you’re supposed to be talking about this book” or “a lot of the negative coverage Trump gets is often just the press repeating something horrible he said, don’t blame us for quoting him accurately.”
