“Whenever he does talk, he can’t put two sentences together,” Trump exclaimed. “I don’t want to be nice or un-nice. The man can’t speak.”
"And he is going to be president because some people don’t love me, maybe,” Trump said. “And all I’m doing is doing my job.”
Wall Street needs to “brace” itself if Biden wins? Good one.
It’s pretty weird on their part. Especially as the stock market has done better under Dems than Republicans. So it’s straight up irrational on their part. They put their ideology and feelings before their returns.
But… I thought the markets were purely rational! /s
OTOH - the House always wins. So if you’re a trader and churning transactions for a slice - it’s all good.
The House always wins with the exception of a Trump casino; of course. Which should give Wall Street something to think about.
Much like John Bolton and all the other conservative assholes that joined his administration, they believed they could control him for their benefit. In doing so, they’ve fucked us all over.
Good, but not as hard hitting as I expected.
I guess we (both on the right and the left) really do have outrage fatigue over Trump. I mean, why isn’t this “bounty” scandal sending conservatives, especially, through the roof? And why isn’t the “liberal” media blaring a megaphone about this, 24 hours a day? Asking like, okay, just how much was the bounty? How many dollars or rubles or whatever per dead US soldier? How many Taliban actually received a bounty?
Come on, this is red meat for both sides!
It should be, but the right is deeply invested in the white nationalist narrative now, and the Russians nationalists have put themselves at the center of that.
How many explicitly White Supremacist messages has this guy tweeted?
Any number over 0 is un-American.
White Supremacy isn’t one of the American values I celebrate but I hesitate to call it “un-American” because, well…
I’m sure more will come. In the meantime, I think the Dems are letting the anti-trump republican coalitions be the attack dogs. Why? These ads target all who by-and-large voted Trump last time (republicans and many independents)… and who is more likely to be believed than mommy when she tells her child that daddy is a monster.
It makes strategic sense. Republican voters won’t be persuaded by Democrats explaining how bad Trump is anyway. The Democrats’ main challenge is to get voters to turn out for Biden.
Not to mention, providing an external threat tends to unify the opposition. And they are doing such a nice job destroying themselves, it seems a shame to crash their party.
Sadly, too true.
Along those lines, it’s hard to think of anyone who better fits the iconic “red-blooded American” than John Wayne. I always knew he had his flaws and that his movies glorified the slaughter of Indians, but how it is possible that I didn’t know about his totally explicit support of white supremacy until today? (Apparently this was in the news a bit in February but I missed it.)
Of COURSE the current efforts to remove his name and statue from an airport in Orange County are being attacked as anti-American.
