The records in question reportedly donāt exist any more, shredded beyond repair.
It might be the flushing rather than the tearing or shredding that does him in. I heard a former prosecutor on CNN mention that his preference for ripping up documents has been well-established prior to becoming POTUS, but flushing indicates a whole other intentional obstruction. This may be why heās actively denying it.
Maybe the Jan 6 investigative team should reach out to China, Russia, Israel, North Korea, Pakistan, Belarus, etc. for his call transcripts.
