It would be kinda awesome if 45 tried it, but it turns out Eric was a deep-cover asset all along, and reveals that he is not only the smartest Trump by far, but that he has recorded 45’s every misdeed for the past 3 decades and handed them all over to the authorities.

I can kinda see it. It’s like when Colbert is doing his Eric impersonation “Dad! Dad! I did all the things you told me to! Can I have a hug?”, and then the lip comes down over the teeth, and the voice settles down, and there’s just a calm, menacing stare straight down the camera and “Dad? You only needed to have given me one hug when I was growing up, you know. Just one. You brought this on yourself.”

The response thread helped me understand that when he was saying “Wegner’s” he didn’t mean “Wegman’s” – my assumption, knowing PA stores better than he does apparently – but rather, he meant “Redner’s”.
