Yep. I overheard one those idiots in a coffee shop yesterday saying they thought trumpâs âcrazyâ was getting everything done.
well it is⌠just that the thing being done is a right wing wet dream and going to fuck over the USA probably for the rest of my lifetime.

Chump fight!
Vanity Fair was right that their video missed the mark â as humor â but it was spot-on as editorial.
Too bad the code is wrong⌠They put in a clever error message that will never be displayed? Figures.
Which way is he trending? Up or down?
This appeared on the front page of twitter. Or at least the front page that was served to me. I should really get an account.

Moments ago?
Is this what counts for âbreaking newsâ on FNC?
If youâre inclined to send Trump some good tidings, maybe you could thank him for exposing Ellen Degeneres as an agent of the deep state. He dragged her into some bizarre drama earlier this week after noticing Twitterâs suggestions of âwho to followâ paired the TV host with Barack Obama and Crooked Hillaryâan obvious indication that she, too, was a major deep state player.
Oookay.
âEmotional intelligenceâ is a fairly thoroughly discredited concept within psych research, BTW.
OTOH, I donât disagree with the general point. But what Reich calls âemotional intelligenceâ Iâd describe as ârat cunningâ.
I donât necessarily agree with that aspect either, but I fully agree with the overall narrative that heâs a gifted huckster and con man that improbably managed to con his way into the presidency.
He sometimes reminds me of John Goodmanâs character in âOh Brotherâ. Sneaking up and hitting us all on the head to steal our money.
A dangerous short-circuit?
I think that heâs probably not that gifted a huckster. Find a black man who was born poor who did what Trump did (ripped people off for millions in real estate, fake university, etc.) and Iâll have to admit that heâs a gifted conman.
But compare Trump to Bush Jr. Bush Jr. ran business after business into the ground and the system was always there to rescue him. The difference between Trump and Bush is the amount of malice with which they abused that system.
Trump didnât con his way into the presidency, he failed his way in, just like Bush. A white man who has failed at everything his entire life but who enjoys success thanks to being born wealthy is the Republican ideal.
