The entire ideology boils down to “force is good, let’s use it against people we hate”. Trump is a racist thug – that’s enough. But of course Bolton is bloodthirsty authoritarian himself, so he’d like to pretend it’s some kind of intellectual thing. Hopefully he can discuss it with Kissinger soon.

Biden has a shitty debate and everybody from the media down to prominent Democrats tripped over themselves trying to bully Biden into dropping out of the race by questioning his competence.
Trump says at least 20 disqualifying things a day and nobody says a god damn thing to question his competence. It’s just infuriating.
JFC this. Bolton has already said he won’t vote for Trump (or Harris, so he can fuck off) but this “oh he says these things but isn’t capable of doing them” is straight up 2015 levels of thinking. Everybody should know by now that he means what he says.

Trump is disposable to the far right big dollar club. He could die after the election and it wouldn’t matter to them. It might even be preferable; they have a very compliant replacement. Or they wait a little and get rid of the whole system and take over directly.

Temporary on a cosmic time scale, maybe. The damage Trump has done and would do again will be insignificant by the time our sun expands and consumes Earth. Knowing Musk’s arrogance and sci-fi fantasizing, he probably assumes he’ll have his mind uploaded into a computer or something and be around to see it. Meanwhile, in terms of actual human beings living in the real world, Trump’s damage is essentially permanent, in as much as it won’t be getting undone within our lifetimes. That’s already true after just one Trump administration, and now they want to double down on it, just to make absolutely sure that no matter how much things turn around in the future, we’ll all die in an objectively worse world than the one we were born into.
