yup.
but once the work camps are in full swing, the profits go up, up, up. never mind there will be no one left to purchase his junk cars. but to him, the free labor to make his rockets, robots and mining equipment, it will be “all aboard” for the mines on mars.
at least in his deluded, 12 year old, stunted, sci-fi mind.
LOL, How’s that working out?
This tells me what I always suspected with Trump supporters: that it’s NOT the economy. They just use that crap to justify their bigotry.
I hope Harris wins in a landslide so we don’t have to say we owe a debt to Tony Hinchcliffe for saving our democracy.
“This will hurt me personally, but it will hurt women and brown people more.”
Such selflessness! /s
I’m getting eerie Brexit echoes from this.
Yes, it’s very Brexit. Brexiteers pivoted from promising a post-Brexit boom to saying that economic hardship would be a price worth paying to “take back control”. There was also a side order of claims that hardship would bring people together and toughen up the soft youth of today, drawing on myths of the Second World War and the “Blitz spirit”.
I know, right? I’ve been referencing Brexit a lot in these past few weeks. Like, we knew it was wrong when they did it, and now, with absolute proof that it was wrong, we’re going to do a version of it as well?
The election isn’t over yet.
Yes, important correction there!
