this is one of the sweetest, most heartfelt shows in awhile. love the stories, the way they are told and each actor brings such life into the characters.
absolutely adore Zahn McClaren in this. do also check out his portrayal of Lt. Joe Leaphorn in the Prime Video presentation of Tony Hillerman’s Dark Winds.
.
Looks interesting, but it’s Disney plus in Canada . Our present family dog is a literal ex reservation dog; sort of large GSD type, just the sweetest dog. Took her a while to get her head around the fact we didn’t want her to kill everything in the yard, though She did spook a skunk a couple weeks ago, though, hopefully learned that lesson…
It’s a good show, but I haven’t dived into the 2nd season.
I personally like the wisdom or William Knifeman
I always get the feeling we will find out he is really from the 20th Century and died choking on a potato chip at a powwow or something.
It’s not always true that an essential show is also a really enjoyable show, but Reservation Dogs is definitely both. Centering a much needed (in a country built on stolen land and indigenous genocide, perhaps the MOST needed) perspective, while also telling funny and affecting stories with well-realized characters - this show rules.
