Excuse me whilst I pick my jaw from the floor, dropped there in utter shock.
Gaaa! I can’t believe that a service I use for free might want to increase the effectiveness of the ads that pay for that service by figuring out the general geographic location of their users. I’m stopping using this free service immediately and taking my zero $ elsewhere.

But you can’t get the kid scientists to put things on a LISTSERVE any more.
