Did Twitter do anything, though? The underlying article says that it is against Twitter policy, but I can’t find any action that Twitter actually took. Am I missing something? (I often do)
Ministry of propaganda bullshit.
My guess would be they are worried that doing something might prompt new regulations during elections. There are rules in the UK covering what can be done in elections on TV, Radio and other media, but as far as I can tell the internet has been left fairly unregulated.
Twitter said “We’ll do something if you do it again!”
So, pretty much a nothing result, and expect something remarkably similar to happen again soon.
Aaand for their next stunt:
Labour released their manifesto today. There’s also a website, ‘Labourmanifesto_co.uk’ (I’ve deliberately broken the link), in Labour’s signature red - published by the Tories and criticising the Labour manifesto.
They never fail to show their complete and utter contempt for the electorate.
