And apparently they’re slowest to add community notes to the misinformation spread by the blue checkmarks, who are now fairly consistently the most toxic of active disinformation spreaders. So… yeah, it really seems like what Elno wanted to create out of the ruins of Twitter was a forum for misinformation to spread.

Xitter doesn’t pay its bills, so why would it pay “volunteers?”

I’d bet they offer to pay their “volunteers” in the most succulent of currencies: exposure.
