U.S. Air Force not keen to explain why it fired a Colonel and five others at nuclear base

Yeah, at stars and stripes they seem to wanna suggest it was health related:
“The firings come as the Air Force is expanding a review of whether nine instances of blood cancer found in officers over decades are linked to nuclear silo work. The broadened review includes all personnel who worked on, guarded, supported or operated ground-based warheads, Global Strike Command announced last week.”

“I do not avoid women, Mandrake, but I do deny them my essence.”

So nothing to do with leaving a nuclear silo door open to allow a pizza delivery then. I often wonder what happened to those guys and their commander.

I can understand that. We all know the military does stupid stuff but military officers just don’t make good ordnance.

No penetration, defeated by even minimal fortifications.
