Given the weak response by Governors Abbot and DiSantis, Texas and Florida are likely to be the next flashpoints for the disease. Especially due to the large numbers of uninsured, seniors, and conservatives who engage in magical thinking

A lot of mistakes are being made that will ensure unnecessary suffering and death. That’s not the same as “doom” though.
