Ubisoft going "all in" on Assassin's Creed

If you ever feel like talking about it, feel free to post something in the community video games thread! I would love to find a hook that gets me into it!

To be fair, that is a problem with almost all NPC AI in most games of this sort.

Well put, I agree with your opinions on this.

What makes it worse here though is they actually seem to have tried. They can sense attacks, although not to the degree of the severity.

“This better not have been a joke”. Dude, you got an arrow in the face, how the hell is that a joke?

“I was an Orc Captain until I got an arrow in the face”

Nope, you are right. Not funny. Even after saying it to myself 8,257 times.

I wholeheartedly have to disagree with the author of this article. While some have been better than others, EVERY Assassin’s Creed title has been a quality game that’s quite fun and worth every bit of time spent playing. If you think it’s old hat then nobody is forcing you to play. I’m currently playing Syndicate and old London has never been better! I say Keep Em Coming, because I, for one, will play them all and have a lot of fun doing it!!!

ETA: Or the fun “crash if ship mission fails” in Brotherhood. That bit me on the last $@(*& story mission. I had to completely replay the game because of that in order to finish.

The sequel trilogy was pretty well received. Refined a lot of the playstyle from the first and added a base building and group management mechanic.

And also added tower defense. Not everything needs tower defense, dammit. (See also: Bioshock Infinite)
