Uh-oh, a Sriracha shortage is on the horizon

Along with many here I go for the spicy stuff and I wanted to know what all the fuss about Sriracha was about. I bought the cheapest stuff at the the supermarket. Yeah, it was hot but it tasted like crap so i’m not going there again. Somewhat off subject, I had a few packs of those whole dried chillis that can be found at Asian supermarkets. I had half a large bottle of olive oil and crammed as many chilli’s as I could fit into the bottle. Initially they’ll float but fall to the bottom when saturated. Whenever I want to add some heat to anything that uses olive oil, salads, pizzas or fried stuff, this is one of my goto’s.As it is used up I jast add more oil - the chillis remain strong. Tasty, cheap as, and probably will never be in short supply.
@trumpytheclown Here’s an egg option - which I keep meaning to make. There are many tea egg vids on youtube. Eggporn! This gal cooks aunthentic stuff :

Heh, heh. Not surprised. Family owned company over multiple generations plus what’s basically a private plantation way out in the country in south Louisiana. What could possibly go wrong?

Sounds a little bit like H-mart in the Denver area.
