IMO, what really swung it for Cameron was not appearing on the debates. Heād have been fucked if heād actually had to answer questions about the last five years. Everyone should have boycotted them til he agreed to appear, or made far more capital out of the fact he didnāt.

With the Labour Party leadership candidates seemingly abandoning anything that looks left wing I think the left is fucked for the next few years regardless.
I think the last threads holding my belief in representative democracy have snapped. Iām never going to get any government who even vaguely looks like they have anything close to my political views, I donāt even believe in a centralised national government. Itās time to stop lying to myself and focus on other political action.
