Seems like he could settle this just by doing transactions on known BTC addressed owned by “Satoshi”.
Apparently he “stomped on” the hard drive containing the keys giving him access to Satoshi’s wallet.
As you do when you have sole control of a digital wallet giving you access to tens of billions of dollars worth of cryptocurrency. Seriously, who here hasn’t sent billions of dollars of notional value up in smoke with a round of vigorous stomping? I know I have.
