This guy is actually really lucky to have a sane friend at the office. Until that input, he was “collecting” uninteresting junk. That’s more like hoarding than collecting, really. Do Not Disturb signs have a higher likelihood of being an interesting little window into the many cultures of this world.

Even the beautifully carved ones are probably considered ephemeral junk in the hotels that use them. It’s wonderful he’s collecting and preserving these.

I’ve been tempted to hang one outside the office of my therapist to say “Do Not Disturb Any Further”.
