Perseverance is going to be the key. I just hope the authorities do not up the ante by using dogs, water cannons, tear gas and/or firearms.

Every time I see something like this, I’m absolutely amazed by the restraint shown by the majority of the protestors. When the police show up with pepper spray, shields, and fucking clubs, I always think “this is now a physical fight”, and am amazed that the protestors aren’t defending themselves with sledgehammers etc…

China hasn’t figured out agent provocateurs. Yet.
I would think they’d be better at subversion, but perhaps they are too accustomed to authoritarian rule
