Whenever a new bat is introduced to an aviary, all the other bats have to come and have a “Who’s the new person?” sniff fest. It can be a scary experience for the new bat, esp if they’re young, and some do vigorously object to this sudden invasion of personal space.
As if Tal’ngai wasn’t wonderful enough, he was also a squeaker!
