During a visit to the Detroit Zoo, it began to rain. We were at the elephants’ enclosure, and they immediately got into their pool. They’d been given a tree trunk to play with, and they’d already dragged it into the pool. They splashed around and played with the tree trunk together while it poured with rain.

Spock is a pet budgie whom Mandi (Batzilla) hand-raised from chickhood, after his mum quit feeding him.
Spock sometimes accompanies Mandi while she deals with chores.
“It’s clearly evil…”
Poppy is a troublemaker, and has been known to teach young batties all the proper batty swearwords and epithets.
At night, Poppy prefers to leave the safety of the Waltorf Batoria, where the senior citizens reside, so she can ahem hang out with her fellow troublemaking BF Copernicus.
