United makes emergency landing when passengers become light-headed and nauseous

Sigh.

This just confirms what I was thinking…

Thanks!

I feel light-headed and nauseous every time I go on a long flight.

It’s not fair to count the time you spend in security theater (sorry, “the super essential TSA security area”).

The cabin air intake is in one of the engines, so it is a possibility. I recall how careful you have to be with the air intake when using a petrol powered compressor for scuba tanks.

So much for “Airplane” LARPing…

It’s probably the cheese.

Was Barry Humphries on board?

I get nauseated by the linguistic slide into nauseousness. Though once some people are nauseated, they do tend to become nauseous in confined spaces. Or after pie eating contests.

(I hate to say but this is exactly what happened to/because of me on the curviest van ride I’ve ever been on… the only time I was ever motion sick. In the mountains of Oaxaca on the way to the coast. “OK, OK, I think I’m really empty this <blleeaaaahhhhh!>”)
