As much criticism as Rowling deserves for all the hateful transphobic bile that she’s been putting out into the world over the last decade or so (and she deserves a TON of criticism for that) I’ll give her credit for this one thing: when Universal first designed these lands she absolutely insisted that they be as immersive as possible, with no Coca-Cola or other recognizable brands on display. I work in the industry and what I heard at the time was that there was a lot of pushback from profit-minded executives who were worried about leaving money in the table, but she was insistent and maintained creative control and ultimate veto power. The extreme popularity of Butter Beer seems to have proven that it was the right decision.

I realize that there are thousands of people working very hard to make wonderful memories for adults and children alike, with the books, the films, and the theme parks; however, Rowling’s public pronouncements totally turn me off the whole Wizarding World.
