I was into Joy Division before I started working in radio astronomy. The t-shirt collection is getting out of hand. I’m sure someone will find a way to make this puzzle appear in my life.
It really sorta looks like that. Here’s the spectrometer that I built at the submillimeter telescope on Mt. Graham, doing that with real outer-space noise.
I don’t know how I would feel if I completed this puzzle.
Joy? Perhaps some unknown pleasure?
Looks impractical
I wonder how sales of the album compare to the number of t-shirts and other printed/cut media sold?
Same with Ramones t-shirts (very few of them with Tommy on the logo).
Come on, people! This is a JIGSAW PUZZLE. Can you make that clear, please? There are other puzzles than jigsaws! It doesn’t even make it clear on the original website. I cast around looking to try to make sure, when I realised there was a loose JIGSAW PIECE in the picture. Great. Well done. Two cheers. But that could just have been part of the actual picture. I know it wasn’t. So, a little clarification is a good thing.
I was a Joy Division fan from back in the day. Last year, I had the idea of getting the t-shirt. I wore it a few times until I saw the art prof who lives down the street wearing one. He is in his 50’s (younger then me), and has dyed green hair. Realizing the error of my ways, I put the t-shirt in a drawer never to be worn again (unless I’m doing yard work). Sigh…
Self-conscious much? Why does someone else wearing the shirt impinge on your joy in wearing a cool design?
Love for a band will tear us apart?
I have this one on a t-shirt. Had the JD one as a sticker on the back of my '84 Nissan (Datsun) Sentra.
My friend has the shirt, that’s the first place I saw the cat version.
