I wrote a review for SF Eye, back in '97, comparing Stapledon’s Sirius with Lives of the Monster dogs.

I thought that the latter could have been . . . edgier? More daring? Nevertheless, I have two copies on my shelf, so I can loan one out.

According to her Wikipedia entry Bakis lives in the same town as my sister and is working on her second novel. Which I’d like to see.

Just to be clear, I didn’t create it.

My cats would never cooperate with such a thing.

That dude’s laughter had me almost falling down laughing myself. Also, the way the dog doesn’t break eye contact with the camera is amazing. Like he does this every day and thinks nothing of it.
