When I was a kid we had a big yellow van with a bubble top that my dad modded out for cross-country family trips. Once some hippie pulled up alongside us and sang “WE ALL LIVE IN A YELLOW SUBMARINE!” My parents had to explain what the heck he was talking about. I still think of that van any time someone brings up the movie.
I used to be the same way, but lately all I can think of when I hear that song is the fleet of eight 1950’s era yellow submarines that I have to deal with at work.
Does anyone know of an appropriate alternate soundtrack to Yellow Submarine?
I’d kind of like to watch it again, but I’m not sure I can stomach the music.
