Veterans remind Pokemon players of memorial park's sanctity by shouting obscenities, punching them

One interesting tidbit: Ingress (also a geocaching game made by Niantic) has been played since 2014, and its portals are what Niantic used to base the locations of pokestops and gyms. Mostly, play of Ingress hasn’t been too problematic, because I think Ingress players tend to be older nerds (like myself) who tend to not be really obtuse about playing. Situations will vary, however. I have read of incidents of Ingress players getting shaken down by police for being "suspicious."
I’ve never encountered roving bands of self-professed “veterans” trying to keep me from playing, though. That’s cray-cray.

Arlington National Cemetery has a sign that says:

“Recreation Prohibited.”

I kid you not.
