Video: What fascism is...and isn't

It might bring some revelation to people who don’t usually think about what fascism is, but who would be inclined to strongly oppose fascism, for a start.

If you know something by name - and by definition - you have some power over it.

This is not just some magical thinking. If you cannot name it, and cannot define it, you don’t even see it if it stares in your face. Most of the times, at least.

Ok, ok. I am tempted to throw in the term schadenfreude here, but I think I should abseil myself from my high ground and run for the hills.

It’s an important rebuttal to an oft claimed (in the current national media stage and popular debate), that non-platforming and demonstrations opposing current fascistic movements are suppressing freedom of speech etc.

It’s a very reasonable point, but also this.
Fascism is something specific and not all authoritarianism/totalitarianism is fascism, a certain sophistication of understanding is actually useful in combating whats going on right now.
