What do you think the end of their horn looks like in magnification?

Yes. Remarkable things: the little ball at the end breaks off when the plant is brushed, and that leaves a sharp tip that can then puncture the skin, and also exposes the hollow tube for the poison to then move through.

Agreed. Nettle is my son’s middle name for that reason.

And the poison is a histamine, which absolutely boggles my mind.
