They’ve been screwing up a little more often lately. @frauenfelder says it happens when they set the post date but don’t actually post on that date, like if they decide to post early. Or something. Basically, their automation is their downfall.

The author seems have some rather misogynistic stereotypes and thinking. After all, the gist of the article seems to be that these women are only eye candy and could not possibly be actual computer operators from the era as evidenced by the fact that they chose to show a bit of leg for whatever reason and dress in a fashionable manner. After all, only ugly, frumpy, and out of style women ever work on computers… right?
