After you’re done getting a picture of that, you can go 1/2 mile west and spend some money at a local brewery, if that’s your thing. Then you could go to Fabian Garcia Science Center and view the demonstration gardens. And then after that, you could visit the Chile Pepper Institute.

Once you’re done with chile pepper stuff, you could head East for about 10 miles and visit the Organ Mountains Desert Peaks National Monument. Finally, White Sands National Park is not too far away.
